| Accommodation
|
- Is in shared twin rooms, two people booking together
will, where possible, be allocated the same room,
if requested at the time of booking.
- Rooms are available from the Sunday morning prior
to the course start date.
Each room has two single beds, a desk and computer
with internet connection, television, radio and CD/tape
player.
- The student is liable for any damage or missing
items that they are deemed to be responsible for during
their stay.
- The rooms will be cleaned weekly, provided that
the student keeps the room tidy. An untidy room will
not be cleaned.
- There is a strict no smoking rule, which applies
to anywhere inside the house; smoking is, however,
permitted in the garden.
- Under no circumstances are outdoor shoes to be worn
within the house especially upstairs.
- Any student who has a disruptive influence on either
the smooth running of the house or the lessons may
be asked to leave, before the end of the course.
- In the event of two students being unable/`unwilling
to stay together in the same room, we will do everything
possible to placate the situation, although it is
not always possible to move students around.

| Meals
|
- The first meal is usually the Sunday evening, prior
to the course start date; although lunch is sometimes
available if the student arrives before one pm. (Please
give an approximate arrival time as soon as you know
your journey details).
- The final meal is breakfast on the Saturday morning
after the course completion date.
Meals provided are;
- Monday to Friday…breakfast, lunch and
evening meal.
Saturday and Sunday…breakfast only. (To
be taken before 10.30 am)
- All students are expected to take their turn in
clearing the table after each meal.
- Any food allergies must be put in writing on the
booking form.
- We will, where possible, provide alternatives, for
food dislikes or special needs.

| Course
|
- Minimum age for enrolment is 18 years.
- Level of English, for enrolment, should be intermediate
(lower to upper) in reading and writing.
- The lessons start at 8.45am and end at 12.45pm Monday
to Friday.
- Tuition is continued outside of these times, on
an ad hoc basis, during meals etc.
- Tests will be given on the first day to assess the
students level and repeated during the course.
- The course is primarily a speaking and listening
course to improve fluency and pronunciation.
- Tuition in grammar and vocabulary will be given
when it is deemed necessary, to validate certain areas
of speech.
- Photocopied notes will be issued in relation to
each day's tuition.
- Any dissatisfaction regarding the level or standard
of the course must be brought to the attention of
the tutor as soon as any dissatisfaction is noted.

| Prices
and payments
|
- The cost of the course is agreed when the booking
payment is confirmed.
- No increase in the course cost can be added after
confirmation of accepted receipt of booking form and
payment.
- Price is all inclusive of above conditions relating
to accommodation, meals and course.
- A non returnable booking fee is required at the
time of booking.
50% 6 weeks before course start date Final payment
2 weeks before. Non payment could result in the loss
of course place and booking fee.
- The final payment must be received one week prior
to course start date unless other arrangements have
been confirmed in writing. Non payment by this date
could result in the loss of course place and booking
fee.
- All payments must be made by cheque or bank transfer.
- If after making payment, other than the booking
fee, the student is unable to attend the course, another
course start date may be offered, failing this, refunds
can be made at the discretion of the management. No
refunds will apply if cancellation is within two weeks
of course start date. These refunds will be made back
to the account from which the payments were received.
- In certain circumstances the student can transfer
the course to another student, a friend, relative
etc. If agreed in writing by all parties.
